Question

Looking for Particular Laptop/Notebook

Jan 7, 2015 5:19AM PST

Hey guys,I'm looking for a particular notebook or laptop that meets the following requirements.

4GB ram or higher, 128GB hard drive or higher, Intel i5/AMD Anthlon II or higher, 4+ hours of battery life and Dual-band wireless capabilities (2.4 & 5 GHz).

I was thinking of this one: http://www.thegoodguys.com.au/toshiba-np10t-116-inches-celeron-touch-notebook-pu141a-02m01m?cm_cr=No+Campaign-_-Web+Activity-_-PDP+Recommended+Products+-+Computer%2C+Tablets+%26+Accessories-_-Widget_CatalogEntryRecommendation_3074457345618262726-_-NP10t+11.6%22+Celeron+Touch+Notebook-productImageLink

But does it meet the requirements?
Thank you so much in advance, help is appreciated.

http://www.notebookcheck.net/Review-Toshiba-Satellite-NB10t-A-101-Netbook.108374.0.html found under 4 hours running a video only test. When you want 4 hours you must find one that can deliver 8 hours due to those 300 cycle batteries that by spec, consider the battery good if it has 50% capacity at 300 cycles.

You can wear out most batteries in under a year of daily use and nightly recharges so no, I don't think it met your spec. The MacBook Air hit 10 hours in idle and over 5 hours under usual loads so while it could still miss your specs a year from now at least it delivered it right out of the box.

From your link. "Wireless: 802.11(b/g/n)"

While you may want 5GHz I found it to not cover my home well and eventually disabled it at the router for more security.
