Looking for new backup storage system, have Onstream now

Jan 5, 2005 3:17AM PST

It has become very hard to find ADR tapes for our Onstream backup drive. Does anyone have any recommendations for a new backup system? We have 9 computers that feed into a server which has the Microsoft Exchange Server system. Whatever we use needs to be re-writable because we run a backup every evening, approx. 30GB.

choose LTO for performance

only one reliable backup device and that is LTO....try a 230external...60MB/s compressed and 200GB of storage assuming 2:1 compression....not a better tape drive available out there.
First check your servers and make sure they will be able to supply enough data to this hungry device at sufficient speed. Go to hp.com/support/pat and download the PAT test tool and see what the performance of your file system is like.
