Looking for MP3 - the new Ipod Nano?

by LouLou73 / September 8, 2007 10:42 PM PDT

Looking to buy an MP3 player - small size as will be used mainly at gym, don?t need larger than 4GB memory.

Was looking at the new Ipod Nano 4GB. Is there anything else a bit cheaper but just as good in terms of battery, being user friendly and sound quality? I do not need a radio and can't imagine watching videos on it or uploading photos.

The most important thing to me is that MP3 has a long battery life, easy to use screen to be able to find the music I want to listen to and a good sound quality.

I have already bought two ?cheaper? MP3 which have already ended up in the bin. So basically I just want to know if it?s worth investing in a Ipod Nano if I only want to play music on the player and not for the other functions it offers. If it isn?t suggestions of other MP3 models would be appreciated.

Thanks

$79
Flash, small and relatively inexpensive. Capacity may be a little small for you, 1GB, but you can get 240 tracks on there.

On the other hand, the Nano is not bad either, just costs twice as much for 4 times the capacity, inc video
