looking for mp3 player suggestions...

Mar 16, 2008 1:42PM PDT

currently i have the lexar ldp-200. its a great player, perfectly suited to my needs, as i dont care about watching videos or making playlists, etc, as my files are all organized to suit anyway. personally, i think cards are the way to go, i dont know why all the players now have built-in flash only. i think its much better to be able to switch-out on-the-go if i want, especially since i can carry extra cards with my palm. so, although it may or may not have the best sound around, its nearly a perfect mp3 player for me, except that it doesnt handle sdhc cards. since the price of sdhc cards has come down, its time now to look for a new player that can handle them. i havent found anything equivalent to the lexar that can handle sdhc, though. anyone know of anything? im currently thinging about the cowon d2, although id prefer something smaller and cheaper, as i work in kitchens sometimes, and the last big one i had (pogo ripdrive) suffered some damage as a result of bumping into things with it in my pocket. id rather soemthing cheaper to replace if it gets damaged...

any suggestions?
