Let me share my thoughts on this. I would not need such things as I would put a laptop cooling pad on it or just use the old elevate the back of the laptop method. Works fine here.
Today the state of the technology is such that gamers should stick to desktops or consoles. This is just my thought on the subject as I've yet to find happy laptop gamers. It's always something and all of them gripe about the out of warranty repair bills.

Hi, everybody!
I'm looking to buy a gaming laptop. I've had my eye on the G72GX-RBBX09 but it has a Quad-Core processor: the Intel Q9000. I worry about overheating. I will definitely invest in some sort of cooling pad but I've also read about people using the fans and heat sinks that attach to processors. Although, I'm not really sure what a heat sink is. I assume it transfers the heat away from the processor.
Anyway, I figure buying a new one would be better than using the stock one, and I was wondering how I would find something that's small enough to fit into a laptop (I imagine there isn't much space in there), and also compatible with this specific processor.
Any and all advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
