Looking for digital camera that takes good dark/fast pic's

Jan 6, 2010 6:34AM PST

I am looking to buy a new digital camera that will take good sports photos and good photos at night. Not sure what to get, any suggestions? Price shouldn't exceed $1,000.

(I currently own a Casio Exislim and I think it's a piece of crap.)

I enjoy taking photos but have no experience with SLR's and cameras of the like. Of course I understand that this is most likely the best option for getting the photos I want.

Compare camera to camera

I bought a Canon Rebel this past summer and very happy with it. Sure it takes some work to learn how to use it, as with anything new. I use this site to determine which camera was right for me.

From there I researched the prices for the ones I was interested in..........good luck!

Thanks I never saw that website before and seeing photos side by side helps.
