Looking for an Installer for Wall Mount Plasma

Jul 28, 2005 7:34AM PDT

Just bought a 42" Panasonic Plasma. Any recommendations for an installer in the NYC area. Also which wall mount is best?

My recommendation is to use the C|net Home Intstallation Directory.

Select Home Theater, plug in your zip code and click "Find Home Integrator."

The integrator you select will have a mount. There are a variety to choose from and really the only criteria to worry about is how you want the mount to function.

TV flat on the wall
Tilt
Pull away from wall and turn?

95% of the time a tilting universal wall mount meets the needs of the owner. Expect to pay between $150-$200 for the mount.

Also start thinking about cabling. Including a power outlet near where the TV will mount.

Happy hanging...
