Looking for an easy-to-use camera

Nov 29, 2005 3:35AM PST

I'm usually out there trying to find the best deal for my money in terms of functions and bells & whistles. So, now I'm out of my realm because I'm simply looking for a digital camera that is easy to use. My mother-in-law wants a digital camera for Xmas. She's not very tech savy and these days has a difficult time focusing on any one topic at a time. So, I need something really really easy. It can't have a complicated menu on the screen. I'm figuring around 3 or 4 megapixels. And in my dream world, this camera will easily hook up to a photo printer that we kids can also buy for her.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thank you in advance for any help anyone can provide!

Easy to Use Camera

I would go with the people who invented the phrase "easy to use".

Kodak

Their starter camera is the C310.
If you want one with Optical zoom (3X) look for the C330

Visit WalMart, they should have them on display.

Kodak Easyshare C310 as a webcam?
Mar 11, 2006 7:30PM PST

The wife bought a Kodak Easyshare C310 after our good ol reliable polaroid PDC2070 Digital camera was stolen.
The question is, can or does the C310 work as a web camera?
I have tried but messenger says I don't have a web camera connected.
Is there any software that would inable the camera to be used as a web camera?
