Looking for an adapter for my Samsung MP3 player

Jun 20, 2009 3:26PM PDT

I recently bought a car stereo receiver that has the cord for plugging in an Ipod.
The Ipod connection is wider than the connection on the Samsung MP3 player. Do they make an adapter that would allow me to plug the cord from the car stereo receiver into my Samsung MP3 player?

Inevitably, car manufacturers have gone with the best seller so it's always the bleedin' iPod.

See if the car radio has a minijack (headphone-size) input and connect via that.

Or buy a wireless device that plugs into the MP3's headphone socket and produces a signal you can tune the car radio to.

Ipod to Samsung plug-in adapter

The receiver has a headphone jack, but the quality isn't that great. You gotta crank up the volume to get a decent level.

I'm sure someone out there makes an adapter for this. Using the adapter would also charge the MP3 player.

Anyone else?
