Looking for affordable volume photo scanner- HELP!!

Sep 11, 2008 1:40AM PDT

I am looking to start a home based business scanning photos for slide shows etc. I am looking to avoid the drudgery a flatbed would require time wise of doing scans that might include hundreds of pics.
Is there an affordable option with sheetfed/document scanners that can do photos? Does quality suffer from doc. scanners even when they are capable of up to 600 dpi? Why? Looking to spend less than $1000 & I dont need duplex.

HELP!

SCANNER/SHEETFEEDER

Take a look at the XEROX sheet feeder scanners, some box stores carry them, would be more convenient for what you are trying to do. Cost is somewhere in the 300 to 350 dollar range but would be easier to use for your purpose.Good luck!

Hey, I have a Scanmate F10 flatbed scanner in storage, it has less than a 1000 scans on it. Do a search on the product and tell me your offer!

Thanks!
