I want something that has good response times, Composite, S-Video, RCA, and Computer Inputs and is at least 17 in. I also need to know about how to measure response times in LCD's. Thanks! =^-^=

I just bought the HP LC2600N for $799 (unheard of price) http://www.jr.com/JRProductPage.process?Product=4051474
after reading a few great reviews. Can't beat it for the price and trust me I've been looking for a while. It has all the inputs you want, a very respectable resolution 1366 x 768, nice response time at 12 ms and last but not least a good contrast ratio at 800:1. This is actually an LCD TV with PC inputs. If you are looking for an actual monitor I suggest looking at the Dell 2005FWP http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/ProductDetail.aspx?sku=20053YR&c=us&cat=snp&category_id=6198&cs=04&l=en&mnf=694&Page=productlisting.aspx
or the Dell 2405FPW (sick native resolution of 1920x1200 so make sure you video card is up to the task)

which is what i use for one of my pcs. I have to say I love it and it is tough to find a bad review. There have been rumors floating around that some of them have a high pitch squeel but mine has been great. If you watch the price on the 24'' you may be able to grab it for under 900. All this said I have to say for gaming I would go with the HP LC2600N (which uses the same panel as the Sharp Aquos) and the lower native res is the better choice for gaming if you don't have a strong video card which is probably what I'll end up using mine for. Happy Trails.
Go to an LCD at all? For $350, you can get a Phillips 30" HDTV CRT at http://www.outlet.philips.com/b2c_redesign/b2c/productdetail.do?productguid=41907ABB9A6F008D00000000828BD47240C22B91B410078C00000000828BD443&productarea=41907ABB9A6F008D00000000828BD472&scenario=catalog&shop=OUTLET
I assume you are talking about the 30PW8420. I actually almost bought this TV myself. Just too big (depth) for my needs and no direct PC input. May not be a bad choice. I was just suggesting the HP because that is what was asked about.
At least that is what I have noticed with LCD... (I was watching the Olympic hockey and it was exceedingly noticeable on a 37") With fast moving games, I would think that one would opt out of LCD... Just my opinion and certainly not a professional one ![]()
The LNR238W Samsung 23" LCDTV is a great for gaming. I purchased it Dec of last year and have been dissapointed with it. It is usually priced around $899 in retail stores and as low as $720 online.
Another great choice. The HP will give you a little more screen for the money but I do like the look of the Samsung better. I also just looked the Samsung up and saw that you can find it as low as 650. It is incredible how much the prices are coming down.http://reviews.cnet.com/5224-7596-0.html?forumID=60&threadID=157585&messageID=1750781#
