Looking for a laptop for my work with the following specs

Hey everybody,
I have to get a laptop with the following specs for my work.

A PC with at least:
* 2 Gb memory
* dual core 2GHz processor
* SATA 5400RPM hard drive
* 20" monitor
* Windows XP

I searched and these specs match Lenovo IdeaCentre K210 and
Dell Studio Hybrid.

But we are on the lookout for a laptop, not a desktop.

Can some one please help?

I'll start with looking to Cnet articles like http://news.cnet.com/Ready-for-a-20-inch-laptop/2100-1044_3-5911772.html

http://asia.cnet.com/reviews/notebooks/0,39050492,39095326p-2,00.htm and more but the issue is the market is not there for such a machine. Yes, you want one. But to make such viable a maker needs to sell tens of thousands.

I see HP has removed their 20.1 inch units from sale.

The largest I see is 18.4 inches like the HP HDX 18t Premium series.

thanks for your quick reply. I actually had read that article before i posted this thread. But like you said, I guess I have to wait.

I like your suggestion of the HP HDX. I'll be sure to check it out.

I have an Acer 9810 that has a 20.1"

screen. Dell, HP and Acer all had 20" screen laptops that you may still be able to get if you do a google search. I bought my Acer that has HD DVD right before Bluray won the HD battle.

I do own the Acer 9810 shown

in the Amazon add. I was only aware of 4 brands of 20" screens and they all have been discontinued. The 4 brands were Dell, HP, Acer and Eurocomm (Sager.). The 18.4 screen has taken over the 20" screens.
