Your requirement for voice recognition places your options in the upper ranges of the GPS navigation market, as the top of the line models are usually the only ones with that feature.
Recently, we did a comparison of two brilliant devices, the Garmin Nuvi 880 (the winner, btw) and the TomTom Go 930. Of course, the Garmin's almost $900 price tag places it well out of the "reasonably priced" category, but its feature set is impressive. The also very good TomTom Go 930 is about half of the price ($499).
You could save $50-100 bucks by looking at next down models in these lines (the Garmin Nuvi 850 and TomTom GO 730) which have the same feature set with the exclusion of Bluetooth functionality.
I see a a lot of different gps systems out there and even after looking at reviews and different buying guides, Im still unsure what I should get.
Im looking for a gps that will get me to where I want to go easily, but I dont really care if I can play videos on it, or extras I wont need. Im not sure if I can separate the two though.
So whats a reasonable priced GPS that has voice command, will say street names, but may not have a bunch of extras (unless of course what I want is considered extra?, lol).
