Looking for a good video/photo editing software?

I would like to know if there is a software out there that I can use which allows me to design pictures/photos, edit videos and works with Wordpress? I am not HTML level in my skills but I am very proficient with Wordpress. I use it to build all my sites. I am wondering if there is a software I can download to my PC that allows me to design pictures, edit videos and aids/works with my designs to put on Wordpress? I have used adobe a little bit but i am looking for something a little more user friendly and that is either free or relatively cheap.
