There are few choices here. Dragon Dictate should have popped up fast and it's among the best.
So folk are watching TV and see such in movies. Let's be sure no one is expecting such a software to exist today.

I am in need of a simple software to install on my son's laptop that will convert a teachers lecture into a text format. My son is dyslexia and has a very difficult time taking notes. He is a freshman in college.
Still out on the laptop, he wants MAC book pro, I am thinking Dell. We have 2 PC's at home both Dell. Also might be using AutoCAD and so far that does not work with Apple.
I know there are a lot of choices for this software, but keep it simple.
