Looking for a good all around laptop

First off I am fairly new to laptop buying, so I apologize for my noobish-ness!

I am looking for something that to surf the web, watch dvds and other multimedia, type documents, and play some lower end games with.

I would be prefer a laptop that has good speakers, is fairly light, and is not a finger-print magnet.

At the TOP of this forum we have the laptop scout, Cnet's laptop finders and more.

As to fingerprints get out and go shopping. You can test the machines for this.
