Question

Looking for a gaming laptop

Hello, I'm looking for a new gaming laptop, and I was wondering if you could help me decide on one; I've looked at the asus rog g752vy / vt, acer predator 17, alienware 17 ( and 18 ) and msi titan gt80. Preferably, I would like a 17 inch screen +, and would like the design to be some what good for what I am willing to pay for., and if possible, I would like it to be upgradeable ( msi, alienware 18x etc., however, I wouldnt really mind it being non upgradeable! )
My budget is £1000-£2000.
Many thanks!

I'll share what my son bought last month.

I'll share my son just replaced his 5 year old laptop with another gamer laptop. Here's the old and the new.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0034NGZWM ( ASUS Republic of Gamers G51JX-X3 later upped to 8GB RAM, SSD )
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01578ZKPO ( ASUS ROG GL552VW-DH71 15-Inch Gaming Laptop, Discrete GPU GeForce GTX 960M 2GB VRAM, 16GB DDR4, 1TB ) and for 120 bucks we swapped out the 1TB HDD for a 512GB SSD.

Actually the old laptop could game quite well even after this many years. But he wanted to play a bleeding edge title called Metal Gear Solid 5. He says it's great now.

It looks like there are 17 inch versions as well.

Answer
Well the Alienware 18 and the MSI titan

could be almost twice the price of the others. The predator has the nice new cooling system. I have an Alienware 18 and love it.

Answer
Alienware is the best

I would prefer Alienwares. They are awesome. They are made for gaming purpose only. I would suggest them for gaming.
