Looking for a flash guestbook template for my website

Jan 31, 2006 4:51AM PST

It seems I'm not able to find one that does not return back to a host, with unwanted ads etc. I'm looking for something I can adapt and put on my website.
I am working with Frontpage (of which some web elements are not recognised by my FTP server (Linux - Telenet). Si I have to create sthing by myself. I am also working with SWISHFLASH (great thing for beginners!) giving swi files, and exports to html, avi and exe files in a windows XP environment.
Can anyone help me ?

thks a lot for your help.
Nicole

Nicole,

As far as I know, Flash is strictly a local thing, running on the users PC (showing movies etc). And, obviously, a guest book contains data on your website, or other people, including yourself, wouldn't be able to read it. So I think flash isn't the right tool here.

You'll need server side processing with php or asp, for example, coupled to some database at your server.

Hope this helps.
