Looking for a computer monitor/TV combo

by dw17 / December 23, 2006 11:03 AM PST

I'm looking for a good 24" computer monitor that can also function as an adequate TV/DVD player. I don't need the built-in tuner b/c we rely on cable for TV access. Will any of the modern LCD TVs function as a decent computer monitor? Or can I just get a high end computer monitor and just use the s-video or composite video inputs to watch TV on it? I looked at the Syncmaster 242MP but it looks ridiculously expensive - esp since it looks like the big $$ is for the built-in TV tuner, which I don't need. Any suggestions???

Not 24 inch but nice enough.

Look up the Magnavox 15-mf605t

Picked it up at Target for less than Amazon. Other models there, sorry I think you should take a walk down their isle.

There were others next to that model.

But I didn't note them. I used the old head out to the stores to note models, then home to the internet to check out reviews. Try that.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
