The DCR-SR100 has this mode. It is called burst mode. I think it is 1 pic/sec, so it's what you were wanting. It will do like three to five pics. Also, others have it.
I like to take pictures in a series. With the camcorder I use now, I have to wait about 7 sec. for the camcorder to write the still picture to his flash memory before I can take a` second picture. Does anyone know if there are already camcorders around that can store the images much faster (1 still/sec.)?
(Instead I could use the video itself of the camera, download it to my editing program, take stills, de-interlace... But this takes days of work and the quality of the stills are too bad.
I could also buy an extra picture camera but I prefer to walk around with one device.)
