People will be saying 'Where's the beef?' It is a long way from 'the ultimate prosumer camera'. Why doesn't Sony build DSLRs? They don't know how. You apparently have a limited understanding of photography, but I'm sure it is sufficient for your needs.
In November Sony is coming out with the ultimate prosumer camera. It is the Cybershot DMC-R1. The cmos is the size of 35mm film. It has 10.2 mega pixels. It has up to 5X zoom. It shoots at 24mm min to 120mm at the max zoom. It has an iso of 200 to 3200. Could this be the the beginning of the end for D-slrs. This was my prediction to Lori Grunnin. She wouldn't grace me with a response cause she was running on about how many pixils are too many- the crazy eights. I say removable lenses damage the cmos or ccd with dust and the advance of cameras would be so the need for removable lenses would be useless for the most part. Hear me Kidpeatmoss! So you know what to do with all those expensive lenses. The next three years will tell!!! $999 retail how about that.
