Look! Look! It's a flea-flicker!

by Angeline Booher / December 31, 2006 8:17 PM PST

Must say I've really enjoyed the college bowl games over the past several days.

Saw a flea-flicker in 2 different games. One worked, one didn't.

Then one team opened the game with an on-sides kick!it worked, but there was a flag on the play.

My team plays today, but rainy conditions are expected.

Anyway, this has been an entertaining bowl season so far, and I hope the remaining ones are the same.

So have I

I enjoy college football more than pro.
Penn State(my team)won today against Tennessee 20 to 10, which was great, since ESPN spent an hour talking about how PSU was going to lose.
Michigan was a disappointment. Even though I typically despise them, along with OSU and ND, I usually cheer for Big Ten teams in Bowls. But that 32 to 18 loss to USC was horrible. Don't get me wrong, I'm still happy, a Michigan loss= :). Call me bitter, but I'm not going to forget those 2 seconds.

... I offer you my hand in congratulations.

Y'see, my team is Tennessee.:-)

BTW, I'm not a fan of the ESPN guy. They did a hatchet job on Boise, too.

My national team is Notre Dame. Yet I want the SEC to do well in the bowls, and they'll be playing LSU.

Truly over the years we have been great admiriers of Joe P. His players didn't get into stupid trouble, he demanded academics (high graduation rate) , etc. And he has always been a gentleman. Hope his leg heals OK.

There are teams that make it especially heart-breaking to be defeated by, and Penn State is not one of them. Respect where respect is due.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
