Logitech G15 Keyboard and Vista 64 issues...

by Hydrilus / June 30, 2008 8:30 AM PDT

Mmk so I've got my comp running pretty well right now though I am still unsure of how I got passed some earlier BSOD problems, they aren't happening anymore so I'm happy about that.

Now that I'm installing new drivers and what not, I'd like to get my G15 working but Vista doesn't seem to work too well with it. I went to the Logitech site and downloaded their most recent software update but it's not working for me... It installs the software, then the little G15 icon on the toolbar pops up with a window asking to plug in the keyboard... So, I plug it in and nothing happens. I've restarted as well, just in case the install needed it and it still isn't picking it up. Keyboard doesn't power on or anything... It has come up before as an "Unknown Device" that "malfunctioned" but it isn't working.

All the forums I've searched through report that their keyboard works great on Vista now, why not me?? I tried all my USB ports, none seem to work with the G15 but they work fine for my Razer mouse and my plain-jane keyboard I'm using at the moment...
