I've forgotten my login password on a new computer, the one you need to reach the desktop. Is there a fix for my problem

What I would do.

Check how to log in to safe mode on your PC. How is on the web for your model. Make a new Admin account with no password. Log out of safe mode, reboot, choose the Admin account with no password and log on.
When logged in on new account, delete the old password protected account and create a spare Admin account again. Comes in handy when this happens.
Dafydd.
