Okay, My lit teacher was recently going to surplus 4 compaq armada 1592DMT laptops, but I asked him not to. I told him I could fix them up enough that he could have them in his class room for student use. He agreed. The computers are running win95, and they were running novell, I removed it. The computers were wired in 98 to the network, they no longer are. However, when I turn them on, they all ask you to enter you ____ county login (username and password) well, you can click cancel and it will just go on, but it is just an inconvenience. What can I do to prevent this?
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
