Log to view Login Attempts in XP?

Aug 14, 2007 9:15PM PDT

New to the forum...

Was wondering is there a way for me to know if someone has used a PC, or not, within the last month. Is there a Login Log, or PC activity Log in XP?

Try the event viewer,in the run box type or paste eventvwr

In the event viewer click on security in left pane>under category it shows logon/logoff.there is also the date and time.

Tom,

Thanks for your reply. It says, "There are no events to show in this view" on a PC that I'm testing your tip on. Is this unusual? There have been several logins on this PC within the last hour.

I don't know why it says "There are no events to show in this view'

Where does it say this?

Did you click on something to see this?

Can you provide a screen shot?

Also.you can highlight the entry in the right pane and click on properties for more info.
