Log onto AOL using another PC

Jun 25, 2007 9:15PM PDT

Hi,
My Father has an AOL dial-up account on his PC.
I would like to log onto the internet using this account but from my laptop (so that i don't have to use his pc all the time).

Is it possible to do this?
Is it as simple as installing the AOL software on my laptop and logging on using the account details?
Is it as an existing member, or guest?

Regards,

James

Imagine what you should do if your father bought a new PC. Then just do the same on yours.

Same question..

Yes, In a way it would be similar if my father was buying a new pc..?
However, i want to be able to connect using either the PC or the Laptop.

Do i just have to install the AOL software onto the laptopand then log on as an existing user, guest or new user??

Will there be any issues with using the same account from two different pcs?

Thanks.

You can log in as the same user, ...

whereever you are, if you know the username and password, but maybe not at two different machines at the same time.

Just try!

Sorry no.

This is a warranty issue. You have a new machine and it doesn't work. Start the return process if Dell can't show it working.
