I've heard and read that too many times. There are cell phone service counters that might unlock it but it's a small fee (worth it to those that didn't backup their stuff.
-> The data on phones is just a few feet away from loss so I always wonder why there is no backup.
TL;DR. Ask a cell phone service counter to unlock. They have the Cellbrite machines (yes you could buy one but that's a thousand or more bucks.)
Hi all,
Recently I changed my password on my Samsung S6, after I changed the password I realized I changed it to something I can not remember by accident. This wasn't a problem since I was able to use the fingerprint to unlock the phone.
But the thing is, the battery of my phone was empty. So I charged it back up, but whenever you turn on your phone you will have to put in the password since the fingerprint is not available for security reasons I guess.
So this means the fingerprint could not be used anymore and I do not remember the password. I already went to Find My Mobile and thought I would be able to unlock my phone that way. Unfortunately, this did not work either since I can only found the 'unlock' button.
My question now is: is it able to unlock my phone at this moment without having to go into factory settings, so without resetting my phone and losing all my data.
Thanks in advance to whoever is able to answer my question,
Hevrest
