Has Trump been watching too many John Wayne movies?

This coming from a guy that spend Zero time in military service.

Some might even consider him a draft dodger.

Ever been on the wrong end of ordinance?

And how much do you think was spent on golf cart rentals during 8 years of BO's golf outings, JP?

Probably about as much as they have spent in the first 8 MONTHS of TheRUMPs reign..

At least Trump is staying at his OWN property

AND reaping the benefits of submitting a bill for that fact.....

You think HE is looking out for the "taxpayer"?

Citing two people familiar with the discussions, The Post said the dispute involved multiple elements of the lease, including the price.

The federal agency charged with protecting the first family housed supervisors and backup agents in Trump Tower, one floor below the first family's private residence, until last month. Trump Organization spokesperson Amanda Miller told The Post that a "mutual" decision was made to have the Secret Service find space elsewhere.

"It would be more cost effective and logistically practical," Miller said according to The Post, even as the agency was reportedly holding out for a better deal with the president's company.

The Philadelphia Inquirer wrote about Potomac Gardens in 1989, calling it, "A Place Where The Word Potomac Means Death'.[20] The housing project was featured in a 1990 New York Times article on DC's war on drugs, "From the elegant town houses of Capitol Hill, it is but a few blocks to Potomac Gardens, a cheerless housing project where residents smoke crack in the courtyard and shoot up heroin in the hallways. The Shining City on the Hill has become the Dope House on the Potomac."

Washington, D.C. is one of the largest and most violent urban regions in the United States.
In the 1990's, D.C was the murder capital of the U.S. In present day America, the Washington Metropolitan Area is home to some of the largest and most notorious gang population including the Bloods, Crips, MS-13, Latin Kings, Vatos Locos and Gangster Disciples to name a few. Violent crime is a daily occurence in D.C. and its immediately surrounding areas of Maryland and Virginia.

What's your plan for the multi-million civilians?

You may not like the actual LANGUAGE used by Trump, but his common sense IS what got him elected because he didn't use crap words like 'it's the right thing to do' when BO was putting the screws to the American people. And Trump doesn't throw out false and phony 'red lines' that he has no intention of ever responding to.

When it comes down to it, Bob, no one but the President can make the final decision to act....no commentators, no tv talk show hosts, no news editorials, etc. even though they believe they have the 'expertise' to dictate what they believe the policies should be. That's why we have elections for that position in the first place......nobody else wants that responsibility.

Evidently Trump's LANGUAGE has worked in this instance.....of course, we have to wait and see for how long considering the world is dealing with a totally insane fat freak leader in NOKO, but for now, the tensions have ratcheted down somewhat.

Every time some liberal runs out of debate material, they resort to 'how would YOU handle it' knowing full well that not only do those being asked that question have NO knowledge of the entire book of FACTS but that those being asked are not in a POSITION to handle it. So tell me, Bob....what is YOUR plan since you don't like Trump's?

Trump has said from the very beginning that he would be unpredictable rather than like past Presidents, including GWB in case you're wondering if I would include his numerous advance warnings to Iraq, but most notoriously regarding BO who ALWAYS said "all options are on the table", but immediately followed with "NO BOOTS ON THE GROUND".

Give me unpredictable any time over someone who continuously relays our plays ahead of time and then shoots blanks.

Then there's the China problem.

They don't want SK on their border.
So what's China going to do?

So I hope that Trump does not shoot from the hip.

Aug 16, 2017 3:05AM PDT

our military is ALL voluntary.......there is no draft anymore....so our ENTIRE protection joins up KNOWING that there is always going to be a chance they WILL be those 'boots on the ground' (that includes ALL branches of our military, Bob). Nobody WANTS to be wearing those boots, but they ALL wear them anyhow.

As a Commander In Chief, NO President WANTS to send 'boots' into conflict, but when those actually serving under him, they go WILLINGLY and with PRIDE. My son is a Senior Chief in the USNavy.....just because he's a 'sailor' doesn't mean he doesn't have 'boots on the ground' when he deploys out of this country. Do you think USNavy SEALs, just because they are 'NAVY' rather than ARMY, doesn't mean those 'boots' never hit land around the world. The same is true for the AF, Bob........they may fly OVER the ground, but eventually they land and their boots hit the dirt.....many are in warzones living in barracks/tents and are in positions of training allies.

Stop your crap with "So you've never been in those boots" based on which branch of military someone serves in and your pitiful assumptions that go with your mindset.

Do I WANT my son, or does James WANT his daughter, in harm's way? OUR CHILDREN VOLUNTEERED for their jobs/careers so YOUR children can stay in some liberal college and protest in hate crowds or yank down a statue they don't agree with or continue to live in your basement watching youtube videos..

I take it YOUR CHILDREN receive some form of compensation (MONEY/BENEFITS) for "volunteering"?

Volunteering is generally considered an altruistic activity where an individual or group provides services for no financial gain "to benefit another person, group or organization".
- Collapse -
It depends on the job and skill level, or ability
Aug 16, 2017 10:06AM PDT

those with college get a couple kicks up in rank after completing basic training usually. There are some enlistment bonuses for certain jobs, but you must pass the training, which can be difficult. In my class at DLI we started with 53, only graduated 21. I was one, my wife was another.

JP.....and it's based on (or it used to be before BO's pc crap) specific qualifications now whereas the draft took just about everybody and anybody because it was all about quotas per branch and the need for more grunts than highly skilled and educated personnel. A vast majority of those volunteering to enlist aren't in it for the money, no matter what you may think....they are in it for career opportunities and love of country. But it sounds like YOUR children (or the ones you are defending who DON'T enlist) are snowflakes who enroll in college in order to learn how to become activists, waste their parents' money, and feel they are ENTITLED to do NOTHING with their lives except complain about how rough they and minorities have it and riot in the streets. Are those the kinds of people you look forward to having lead you later on when, and IF, they ever grow up and face reality, JP? They are all parrots, pawns, and know-nothings........and eventually one of THEM will have THEIR finger on the button. Oh, happy days.........

IMO people that "VOLUNTEER" to do something don't throw it in other peoples face...IF THEY "VOLUNTEERED" as you call it...shut their cakehole and do what they VOLUNTEERED to do. Don't complain that they are being used by someone living in their parent's basement...

IMO A person JOINS the military...they don't VOLUNTEER

Top 10 Things You Should Know Before You Join the Military

Aug 17, 2017 3:00AM PDT

YOUR opinion regarding OUR military doesn't count for much.....

And your 'bold' IF "throw it in other faces" remark and that they should "shut their cake hole" didn't come FROM my son who DID VOLUNTEER along with MILLIONS of others since VietNam (and even DURING VietNam like my late husband); it came from ME. And I will NEVER stop throwing it in faces of those, like you, JP, and other liberals here in my country who are too COWARDLY to serve and feel entitled enough that OTHERS should protect them and THEIR 'rights' to protest against THEM. How insane is THAT?

Your 'shut your cakehole' remark comes pretty frequently, as is true with most liberals, JP, when you have run out of debate material. It's easier, or so you think, to demand that the speech gets shut down when it gets to be too much for you and other liberals to handle. Conservative speech and pride in our country is already shut down by dictators around the world far too much....and, although Conservatives backed down in the USA for years because of liberals threats and riots and ridiculous legislation, we'll be damned if we allow it to happen anymore here. Our 'cakeholes' won't be silenced by you or anyone else.

EVERYONE that "served" in YOUR country is a conservative, NO liberals allowed? I don't think so.

I served in the Canadian Army.

I didn't 'volunteer"...I "Joined/served"

After I got out of the Army...

whether they wore those boots or not EVER said 'let's start a war', Bob. You can't even say that about Trump.........you are just worried that he will fight back if someone DOES start it.

However, if you look at recent history with BO.....without saying it out loud, didn't HE start wars in Libya, Egypt, and Syria by encouraging those uprisings and then dismissing ISIS from the gitgo....all the while ignoring the ONE uprising that COULD have solved some major issues and perhaps changed current events for the better....IRAN????

I'm not using hindsight
Aug 16, 2017 1:15PM PDT

I'm using history as my reference point, Bob.....and historically, the past three Presidents have allowed, appeased, and given goodies in return for false promises from NOKO with disastrous results that now have to be dealt with in a different way.

Your fears are overblown, and most liberal fears are, which only creates more rhetoric that is aimed at instilling even more fear into the people. Liberal/Dem politicians have been using that tactic for far too long in order to keep getting elected. They tried to use it against Trump for nearly 18 months of campaigning, and it didn't work.....they continue to try to use it and it still isn't working. The ones this country actually had to fear the most were BO and hilLIARy because they both had PROVEN records of instigating bigotry, hatred, division of country, and the lousiest and most dangerous foreign policies we've had in well over 50 years. No liberal will ever admit that they put us here because it sticks in their craws to try to explain it so they resort instead to name calling and vile threats and obstructionism. The talking points are always disgustingly identical because they don't have the ability to have free-thinking and minds of their own anymore.

They blame Republicans, and have for years, for racism regarding blacks especially, but the PROVEN history is that it was DEMS who owned slaves in the South, it was DEMS who started the KKK, it was a former member of the KKK who hilLIARy claimed as her MENTOR, etc. I'm so sick of the bull lies that Dems put out there, but like it's been said by the Nazi's long ago....repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the 'truth' to all who hear it.
