by aiglehawk / February 27, 2006 8:26 AM PST

Windos XP has some desktop themes in it by default. I want to know these are located in which system file/folder?

Their location...

The location of the themes is C:\windows\Resources\Themes. Just remember that you need to replace your uxtheme.dll file (which is protected by Windows) if you wish to use third-party unsigned themes and msstyles. The best way of doing this is using the free third-party multipatcher available here.

Hope this helps,
John

Sorry i did not explain exactly. I am using a software ShadowUser( a virtulization software). There is option to choose for a desktop background in Shadow( virtual) mode, so I want to use one of XP,s built in desktop backgrounds here. Now when I press BROWSE to choose the background, where I should go.
