Local News?

So there are a verity of content options for what ever you prefer the apple tv or the roku box. But there is one thing still missing. Local News. Now as far as I know there are no options. But that is my question.

How can a cable cutter get local news?

Without dwelling on this I get it from OTA (over the air) and via the internet. There's a cable required from TV to the antenna as well as the internet.
