I have a few apps that I send messages to other apps over 127.0.0.1 so I don't think there's anything foul here.
On a new fresh nothing loaded but patches win 10 OS netstat is showing multiple ports established to the local loop back 127.0.0.1
The machine is connected to the internet via 1 of two interfaces one of which appears to be a virtual port. labeled I219-V No virtual machines are correlated with this stand alone PC that I know of. Again this is a fresh image no apps.
Its my understanding that only port 80 should be established as default. Is it normal to have multiple ports listed as established to the 127.0.0.1 interface?
Is it normal to have a NIC, possibly virtual configured and running on a fresh install?
