the LAN adapter status. Look ok? It show there with no yellow exclamation mark?
O.k... First of all I am running on Microsoft Vista and have a router. The Windows Network Diagnostic screen tells me "A cable is not plugged into the network adapter "Local Area Connection 2". I have done some "homework" and have tried unplugging everything and then restarting, trying to update the driver (not possible without internet), checking my firewall settings and to no avail! I have also made sure that my LAN settings are to "Automatically detect settings". I am at a complete loss! Did I mention that I could connect prior? Yet now for some reason I cannot. I have called HugesNet (ISP) and they said that "everything is fine on their end. Try Cisco." Called Cisco (router) and they said, "everything is fine on our end. It's your computer!" What?!?! I need help! Any suggestions?
