loading the Ebay program

May 29, 2010 1:48PM PDT

when trying to load Ebay, it is usually, too slow, or unable to load. On a rare occurance, it(browser?) will load , like wildfire, and work a couple of pages, before slowing down, or "freezing" again. I have tried "Registry Easy", and their virus scan tool. What may be going here? And more importantly, what course of action shall I take to fix this ? thanx

Re: eBay slow

Not really clear what the "eBay program" is, but let's assume it's your browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari, you didn't tell) that slows down when visiting the site. And let's assume also that
a) that same browser doesn't slow down on any other site
b) eBay doesn't slow down on any other PC or laptop you try to access it using the same connection as this PC
c) any other browser (choose on of the other 4 and install it) behaves correctly

Then
1. Your browser is compromised by malware. Remove that and your problem most likely will be solved.
2. In the mean time, use that other browser to access eBay.

But, just as well, these assumptions are incorrect. So please tell more.

Yes, it is very slow to load Ebay, what to do? Is it because of lower connection speed? CA Shirt 024.
