loading Suse 9.0 pro to dual boot on my new dell

May 13, 2005 1:23AM PDT

Greetings. I purchased a new Dell XPS with a SATA hard drive. I was hoping to dual boot Suse Linux 9.0, but when attempting to load it, it does not find a hard drive. I'm assuming this is an issue with not recognizing a SATA drive and I'll have to install another drive. Any other thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks.

Try 9.2 or 9.3.

Newer hardware is supported in newer distros.

Try their LIVE CD to see if it finds the hard disk.
