ssdaven,

1. A terabyte is a pretty significant drive. Unfortunately, the WiseLink units only support a Fat16/Fat32 format, and not the NTSF format, which is usually found on those larger drives. The drive itself may work, however the space you're available to store on that drive may be limited by the Fat32 or Fat 16 format.

2. Game Mode will remove much of the processing that causes lag. This was a huge feature for gamers, as sacrificing picture quality is often an acceptable trade for reducing the lag (delay) of fast action piture in video games.

3. I'd hook up the Rogers HD box with optical directly to your home theater system. HDMI does transfer 5.1, however the speaker system in the television itself is 2.0. So whatever signal goes into the television is trasferred into 2.0; optical pass through is not available, and the optical ports are only for OTA broadcasts.

I hope that helps, and let me know if I can help with anything else.
