Resolved Question

LN55C630K1FXZA. Flickering problem.

Oct 10, 2012 10:51AM PDT

I have intermediate flickering........ done a bunch of trouble shooting with no positive results. Chatted with Samsung earlier, could have sworn I registered my TV when I bought it 2yrs ago, but said it wasn't. It's registered now. Samsung agent seems to think it's my Uverse receiver. I just received a new one last night, the issue continues. But, when the Blue Ray player is on and we are watching a blue ray movie.......No flicker. I'm lost, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Did Samsung get out and fix it then?

It would be a shame if folk have to do this themselves. While I'm a die-hard DIY person and more (I've built electric/electronic stuff for 5 decades), this issue is where Samsung service should have done the job.

It's all good.

We did it ourselves thanks to the link you provided. I didn't continue with Samsung because it's out of warranty & don't have the funds right now. It's been working great, no more flickering. Thanks again.

It's a shame to read that.

This issue should have been one where you call it in, Samsung looks it up and goes "We'll fix it."

While I applaud all DIY folk, this one is one that Samsung should have taken care of.

No worries.....

I really appreciate & understand your concern. I did try talking to them as stated in my original post..... He didn't want to believe it was an issue with my TV. I didn't have the energy, patience, funds or time to continue checking back with them. It's all good........ No worries. Happy
