LN52B610 Wont Allow me to change source input

Had this set for almost 1.5 years. After plugging the unit back in (I had to move a power cable) it will power up, but will not allow me to change the input source. The buttons on the side of the TV also do not work.

It will power down.

Tried firmware upgrade, but enter key on remote wont work. So I cannot start the firmware upgrade process.

Confirmed and replaced and confirmed batteries in remote.

Noticed that power light flickers furiously and randomly when powered on.

Ideas? Suggestions?
