LN52B610 fast moving picture blur

Aug 4, 2009 1:06PM PDT

sorry this is kinda hard to describe but in some fast moving scenes I get a blur or heat wave looking thingy around people or objects that are moving,You really notice it if your watching shows like Family guy or simpsons but have seen it in regular shows as well both in HD or SD.I suspect signal being that it is satellite but thought I would see if anyone else had come across this?

Thanks for any help in advanced

Kevin

kcracer,

The most probable cause is signal compression in the broadcasts. The higher the compression, the more the picture will "blur" around fast moving, or detailed objects.

kcracer,

Try adjusting the AutoMotion Plus settings, first by the default settings (Clear, Standard, Smooth, etc). If that doesn't work, you may be able to adjust the processing in the CUSTOM menu, where you can adjust the Blur Reduction and the Judder Reduction to fine tune the processing. That could assist in reducing or removing the problem.
