LN52A850 PICTURE SCAN

Feb 3, 2009 2:55AM PST

When I use the setting for picture justscan mode, I get a green line down the right side of the tv. If I use wide to fit the picture over flows out of the picture area. 16.9 is good for alot but not all. Is there a way to adjust the picture in and out of the screen.

TIA
Scott

Two sets...
Feb 10, 2009 10:28AM PST

scooke52,

There are usually two sets of picture settings.

One is in the PVR box (that outputs a specific size)
One is in the television (that process the signal the PVR sends).

You might try turning off Just Scan and see if you can adjust the PVR settings and then the television settings. Most people can find their preferences represented in one or the other.

Keep me posted.
