dominion$$69,
What specific concerns do you have?

Have all the problems been fixed with this specific model with the new ones coming out of the factory, or is it still hit or miss picking up a good one..

The IR problems people are having. I was wondering if the new ones rolling out of the factories have the new boards in them already, or if it is still being corrected by service techs after purchase. Thanks
dominion$$69,
I have no way of knowing. Even if they have, the distribution is so wide that I wouldn't be able to track which units have which boards.
If you do have the issue, we will resolve it.

Wasn't really looking for detail like which units have which boards. I would have thought that this problem was wide spread enough that Samsung would have made changes already at the factory level instead of having service tech's come out to all the defective sets. That information should be vailable by now.
Not to hijack this thread but, does the LN52A650 have this IR issue?
I've been thinking about getting the 850 for the past two weeks (after thinking long and hard about the 650 before it), but after reading a ton of information on this site and others about the IR problems and not many legitimate fixes without sacrificing picture quality, I'm thinking of going with the 650 instead.
Any input, suggestions, and/or opinions are welcome. Thanks in advance.
Big Zaz,
I've seen 2 cases online so far, so I'd say that it's extremely rare for the 6-Series, and probably not plausable any more than any other set on the market.

dominion$$69,
I can't suggest or make a statement on what I can't personally promise or deliver. I don't know, and that's what I've got. I give everyone the courtesy to not make guesses (in our favor, or otherwise) based on what I simply don't know.
