Ballew01,
Thanks for the update on the PS3. Glad to hear it worked out.
The information bar is simply displaying what the incoming signal is. It would be redundant to display 120Hz when that's what the panel will always show.
The purpose of the information bar was to give the end user who wants to change the settings of his source the ability to see what resolution and Hz the incoming signal is being detected at.
The panel itself will always show a 1080p picture at 120Hz. The incoming signal may not be that high, and there is a processing that the picture goes through to be shown (called upconversion) properly.
This is also helpful in diagnosing a poor signal; often times, when unplugged, some DVD players revert to a factory default setting, and you can easily see what setting is coming in at the touch of a button.
If I can explain this further, please ask. We're here to help.
Regards,

Probably get these questions alot but I wan to make sure on my end.
When watching a Blue ray movie via PS3 the info says 1920x1080@60hz
Should it not say 1920x1080p@120hz? when watching HD TV it says 1920x1080i but it does not have the p at the end for Blue ray movies. Is this just because the TV is a native 1080p and will not say 1080p because of that?
Also the 60hz part never says 120hz why is that and is it something I need to fix.
Thanks and again sorry if the question has been asked over and over
Lastly had the popping and picture skipping issue with the ps3 and tv via HDMI hook up and updated firmware to the 2007.0 and it resolved that problem
