Does the tv have pip? and cant it be used with the MediaLive Digital Media Adapter? Ihavent been able 2 find much info on any of these but ordred the tv anyway. is the LN52A650 a series 6? i keep seeing thing related to series 6,7,8.
ny place 2 get full manuals 4these items (i'm a tech/Eng freak bedridden so i'venever even seen the face of the surround sound unit 2 see what controls it has. but lying here all day i'd like 2 read the stuff 2 dream about what i'm going 2 hook u friday when it gets here.i already have 5 computers (3 i bedroom) and certaily want 2 stream video & audio along with all the other cool stuff.

I know it's hard for you to type, so I'll try to make this as informative as possible, and ask as few questions as possible.

First of all, thanks for purchasing Samsung.

1. The TV does have PIP, but it is limited to the ATSC and NTSC tuners. I am exploring (with management) the ability to expand these options, but for the time being, it is limited.

2. The LN62A650 is indeed a 6-Series Television.

3. It can be used with a MediaLive Digital Media player.

4. There are manuals available on Samsung's support page. I will list a few of them here, but if you need to look for other products, here is the main support link (type the model in the purple box, and you'll be directed to manuals, quick guides and firmware updates)

Here is the main link:
http://www.samsung.com/us/support/main/supportSupportMain.do

Manuals for the LN52A650:
http://www.samsung.com/us/support/download/supportDown.do?group=televisions&type=televisions&subtype=lcdtv&model_nm=LN52A650A1F&dType=D&vType=L&mType=&prd_ia_cd=02010100&acc_ia_fl=N&disp_nm=LN52A650

Information on the MediaLive:
http://www.samsung.com/us/consumer/accessory/type/accList.do?group=televisions&type=televisions&subtype=tvaccessories

There is also a link here at C|Net about some users discussing the benefits and limitations of MediaLive, and you can find that discussion here:
http://forums.cnet.com/5208-13973_102-0.html?forumID=146&threadID=312992&messageID=2886853&tag=forums06;search-results#2886853

Hope that helps, and again, thanks for purchasing a Samsung.

thank u, gotth LN52A650. love it. i poostd a new msgbut i should hace v continued here
i want to get a32 incher with the same i see a LN32A550 but no 650
is it basically the same as the 52 inch 650 inother words does it havethe same internet type optionsand can the MR-00EA1
Media Live? Digital Media Extender wor k withthat one also

if not does samsung make a model? i am going 2 havea ball wth the 52 inch but since my getting out of bed is very limited i want one (32 incher) near my bed on the other side of my computers i wount have2 create cd/dvd's 2 watch my anims, play mp3's etc. heck justthe ew toys.
so i will be spnd mich more time in my bed(99% more time) if the 53 inch would fit in my nedroom i'd have it moved in here and letthe ole lady get what ever(dont mean 2sound selfish) but i thought i'd never see theday of this type of toys on a tv and with such a beautifl pix. its wonderful 4 a real OLD OG 1/2 blind, on the ay out and trying 2 live in peace but still that electronics freak in me always rears it s head. if my fingers werent so bad i'd ty 2 build anew i7 based system right here in bed although i already have 2 towers and a eeepc next 2 me - that shows u howfar gone i am and why im obcessed with this/these samsung models.

sorry 4 running on thats the meds ?(many of em)

Hey, I hear you with the electronics obsession. I'm all about that. Happy

Well, the A550 Series will not have the WiseLink or InfoLink capabilities that the A650 Series has. However, if you're going to be using it as a computer monitor to play those files, I don't see why it wouldn't work. But for the MediaLive extender, let me find out for sure which models work with it.

Thanks for your interest in Samsung products.

Nov 30, 2008 12:47AM PST

just before clicking on order the 550 32 inc i saw newegg had the 32 inch 650 man was i glad. so i ordered it immediately. i assume the 32 inch model has thesame features as the 52 inch? LN52A650...

relatives & friends have been droping by and they see the LN32A650 they are in awe! seriously since i owned an electronics store/tv repair center before being ill everyon in this dinky town has seen many diff sets but the expressions on their faces i've nver seen and my wife, she hasnt stopped drooling yet. its a good thing i did find the 32 inch version cause she just tok over the big one! i'm trying 2 figure out how i can fit the tz515t system in my bedroom cause i really like it 2 even though i have a $1200 yamaha receiver system now. i like its features, extras and sound without having 2 continue tweaking all the time and the ipod mount.
