me5po5ito,
I'm sorry to hear that you're having this issue.
Since both units are this year's model, they are likely still under warranty, and I would recommend calling 800-SAMSUNG to set up an appointment to have your sets inspected. It's difficult to diagnose what the issue might be, but let's get your sets fixed first.

Let me start off by saying that I love Samsung TVs. I have had a few flat panels televisions, and they have all been Samsungs. I have spoken very highly of the products and have persuaded countless friends/family members to look into Samsung products. The picture quality is outstanding and I love the features... but with my two recent purchases, I am thinking I may have to shell up the inflated price to go with Sony next time... very disappointing.
For now, however, I need to resolve my issue. Over this past summer, I purchased two brand new Samsung TVs. One is an LN46C650 and the other is an LN55C650. Yes, they are the same "model" just different sizes - one 46" and one 55".
I find it sad that they are both having the same issue considering they were purchased at the same time. The issue is that they both intermittently turn on and off automatically. There is no ryhme or reason to it, it just decides it wants to turn off, and then turns itself back on. It is a very annoying issue, especially since I cannot figure out what triggers it. And they both do it at different times. Could be 5 minutes into watching TV, could be 3 hours into it. And if it happens once, it could happen again in 5 minutes, 3 hours, or not til the next day.
What gives?? The connections are as follows:
The 46" has a wireless internet connection connected to a cable box with an HDMI cable.
The 55" has a wired (ethernet) connection connected to a standard cable jack (no cable box).
Please, please, please give me a solution to this ANNOYING issue.
