ln46a750 screen problem

Aug 27, 2009 6:07AM PDT

Hi - my ln46a750 is about a year old and last few days I am seeing a problem with the screen. Basically the right side of the screen has some echo (that's the best way I can describe it), its not all over the screen but just on the right half. I see it when I turn the TV on, its there for about 5 minutes and then it goes away. I have tried to play with all the settings but its not a setting issue. I have even set it back to factory and still see it. I also see 3 (maybe 2) horizontal lines on the screen. The echo seems to be coming from the lines. The lines and the echo both go away after approx. 5 minutes. The TV is mounted on my wall since I got it, so its not damaged.

I can take a picture of the echo if it will help. Any help would be greatly appreciated

thanks!

pakman0,

Pictures always help, but even in this case, there doesn't seem to be a lot I can suggest if it's happening on all inputs and the reset was performed. You might call 800-SAMSUNG and see if you can have your unit inspected.

Thanks for getting back so quick! I have not tried all the inputs but I am pretty sure its not an input issue, I see this with the stuff that is on the TV's hard disk. The content that came with the TV (kids stuff, recipes etc.) I guess I will have to call Samsung

pakman0,

Yes, the library content should work flawlessly. This should be a good thing to show the technician when he comes out.

Keep me posted.
