LN46A650 Delivery Help

Jan 5, 2009 6:45AM PST

I will soon have a LN46A650 delivered from Samsung as a replacement for my current Samsung TV that was determined to be unrepairable. When it is delivered I will inspect the TV for any damage. However, it is winter time and I assume the delivery truck will not be heated. I doubt the truck driver will want to wait around until the TV warms up gradually to room temperature. Should I wait until the TV warms to room temperature before turning it on? If I don't check for power and a normal picture prior to the truck leaving what is my recourse if there is a problem? Thank you for any help or suggestions.
