LN46A550 and VGA connection?

by airbus737 / October 26, 2008 7:12 AM PDT

Hello all I have been trying for awhile to get my LN46A550P3FXZA to work with my laptop, which has no problem connecting to 2 other tvs via the VGA connector. The tv does not even recognize that it is connected, I try to refresh the list of connected items and still no joy. I have tried the fn F5 key and no joy. Anyone have any ideas?

I have tried using a Fujitsu Lifebook model number I can't remember off the top of my head will get back on that, as well as trying it with a Toshiba Satellite A205 which also did not work. The Lifebook has vista, and the Toshiba has XP Pro.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
