I am new here, sorry if I have not posted this in the correct forum.
I have an external HDD hooked to my tv via usb cable, I use it to watch all the TV shows. I love the samsung movie player, hence, why I got into getting my TV shows to the drive... aside from the fact that you can chapter the tv show in different pieces, you can comeback to where you left off later on even if you turned the TV off for 1 hour or 1 day... I also love the fact that once you have viewed an episode of a show, it shows previews of it and the episodes that you have not seen yet are only showed as Reel Icons, this is one of the coolest features on this TV.
That is until recently, I don't know whether this is a problem with my external drive or some sort of corruption on my TV's firmware... I know I am up to date because I have an ethernet cable hooked up to it so every time I go to the InternetTV (which is often), it tells me that it will update either Hulu, Netflix or something else I have added.
Anyways, I was wondering if re installing the latest version of the firmware ver 1035.0 would fix this issue even though I am sure that is the version I already have.
Also, since there is no newer firmware version and this one was done back in 2011 I was wondering if the newest version from other newer models would work on my LN40C650 as well?
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
