LN40B750 Red Dots on the screen

Tech- any suggestions: Unit powers on, however, there are blurry red dots on the screen.

Since I cannot diagnose the issue from here, I would highly recommend that you contact the Samsung service center in your region for further assistance. They should be able to put you in contact with a tech that should be able to diagnose and fix the issue.

Error Diffusion

I think you have "Error Diffusion". Little red dots dancing around the screen. A Samsung tech should fix it cause they have the correct equipment....but all they will do is adjust one of the little white plastic screws on your power board. My older plasma had it and I was able to fix it myself. If it was my main tv I wouldn't have messed with it.
