LN40B650 and XBOX360 problem

Aug 11, 2009 12:10PM PDT

Hello,

I recently bought a Samsung LN40B650 for my bedroom such a beautiful TV, but the issue im having is related with my XBOX360 and it being connected to TV via HDMI . The problem is the following once i go to settings on the xbox360 so i can put 1080p resolution the screen turns half green and with grey lines all over the screen it just goes crazy (that happened always) now i told it to leave the setting to try and now the screen goes black and says "mode not supported" and returns to 720p resolution . Any ideas what the issues could be? as its a Full HD 1080p HDTV

LN40B650 and XBOX360 problem

Quik360,

The television can accept a 1080p resolution, so the issue may be with the HDMI cable or possibly the Xbox itself. Do you have the latest updates on the Xbox?

If that doesn't help, try changing the HDMI ports and see if you get a better result.
